Please keep your ignorance to yourself. I would have be disturbed by the
above racist statement had you not voiced the disclaimer "I'm not a native
english speaker", meaning that you are not American, and hence not exposed
to the racial diversity and tolerance most people raised here have.

Lets keep this topic apolitical. If you think vendor-specific questions
ruins this list, you ain't seen nothing yet!

Hi,

I pride myself into thinking I don't hold prejudice to race, religion or
colour.
Therefore I feel reluctant to reply to this particular thread because this
may be interpreted as such.

I've noticed a line of posting coming from a fair amount of mostly (south)
asian based countries that I wouldn't reply to even if I were paid to do so.
Those posting usually are totally offtopic to the forum they are posted to,
written in the most undecipherable english, and scattered with the most lame
acronyms for common english words like 'u' for 'you', 'r' for 'are' and
'plz' for 'please'.
This is not acceptable language abuse, though it may look 'cool' (I consider
it belonging in the class of 'k3wl l33tsp34k', or rather idiotspeak) in the
less respected forums on IRC and Usenet (yes, there are also forums on IRC
and Usenet that do _not_ tolerate language abuse like this).
Splattering 'URGENT!!!!!!!!' and 'NEED HELP!!!!!' in the subject line and
text doesn't make it very appealing to read the question either, since
combined with the above issues makes it a useless task anyway.
If you feel offfended by the above, I'm sorry.
Though, if you feel offended, you're probably also one of the persons that
should reconsider their style of writing messages.

I hold great respect for Sun, and the products they produce (though I have
less pleasing comments on Solaris8 with respect to its installation on x86
based systems).
I think Java, and the Java2 Enterprise environment are great products, and
deserve the amount of support its currently getting.

Personally, I joined the mailing lists Sun provides in the hope to find
forums that would actually be beneficial to me, in my attempts to learn
Enterprise Java.
The amount of crud that gets sent through these lists however is of such
proportions, that it's impossible to wade through to find usefull bits of
information.
Having to run posts through a decoder to make some sense of them doesn't
help either.
Incredible that Sun allows its domain name to be tied to the totally useless
lists that make up some of the interrest lists I'm subscribed to.
I'd be ashamed to host them.

So, please consider this my first and last posting to this email list before
I unsubscribe.
It's no use flaming me for this post, as they will not get replied to, but
simply deleted.
Usefull comments are always appreciated.

<disclaimer>
1) I'm not a native english speaker
2) These are my opinions, and mine alone. Please consider them as such (just
an opinion).
</disclaimer>

Regards,

F. O. Tempel
