I am a little confused, in the EJB specs it states that within the
EJB container it is never allowed to use threads.

   BUT....

When a write a helper class, that is used by an EJB's (so no actual
part of the EJB code). And this helper class makes use of threads,
can you state that the helper class runs in the EJB container or
not ? Is this allowed ?

   May i use threads in helper-classes ?
Is the helper class managed by the EJB container ?

Could anyone shed some light in this ?

   groeten / regards,
   Marco Pas
