The message is from an automatic vacation program, and the list isn't
configured correctly to prevent them - in otherwords it's the list's
problem and not the sender's. The list manager could possibly add

Precedence: bulk

to the mail headers to correct this (with most vacation programs, anyway);
if listserv can do this it's not obvious to me from the manuals.

Adding

* [EMAIL PROTECTED]

will cut down on the the error messages everybody gets when they post.
Errors-To is not an official header (Return-Path is), but it's in common
use and configurable in Listserv.

The listserv manuals are at
http://www.lsoft.com/products/default.asp?item=listserv .  Perhaps a list
manager could look at the sections on error handling (4.7, 4.8), and maybe
even automatic address probing in section 4.9.

Being a list manager is often a thankless job (Thanks!). Keep that in mind
before flaming them.
