Not intended as a vendor plug but more as case study, I'm sort of curious
what people think of some of the things Enhydra has been doing in the JMX
area with their multiserver kernel. Creating an infrastructure that combines
service management with the application server interface seems very
interesting. From what it would seem the future of Enterprise systems holds,
it seems right now that the larger corporate model will be be dominate (over
say the dot-com using the app server). Thus the J2EE connectors, providing
access interfaces for the EJB server, etc. could be the direction to take at
this time.
