No more than you do. :-)
In EJB, I don't think we will ever get to the point of knowing the client IP
address, since TCP/IP isn't even demanded by the spec.
I think a <run-as> would be useful, especially if it did not destroy the
credential of the original client.
Also, another very useful function would be to allow something similar to a
servlet's request context. Being able to stick arbitrary objects into a map
that seamlessly travels along with the current transaction (or call stack)
would be extremely helpful. This could be used to maintain the client's
original credentials as well.
