Thank you very much, Sean! I would like to know more about the "Local"
aspects. I understand that part of the model maybe still under evaluation,
but I really hope you can tell us a little bit more. I will be greatly
apprecaited if you can answer me several questions.

>Local
>-----
>Access only with scope of PM

Assume there is Bean A and Bean B, bean A has a CMR to bean B. Does
"accessing only with the scope of PM means" means both A and B must be
belong to the same PM?

If it is true, can we still have Bean A which is "homed" in a different
Application Server?

Can an CMR object not a bean?

Must an "Not a bean" has abstract accessors (get/set method) like now? And,
PM responsible for the concrete implementation of the accessors?

Will it implicily or expliclty require class modifier the same way as JSR 12
JDO, so that the object contains its persistence states (transactional,
transactional-dirty, persistent, transistent, etc)?

Any cascade-delete options for "Not a bean" object?

Any PM responsible abstract create<method> for "Not a bean" object?

>No Transaction attribute

For example, bean A has a local reference to bean B, when operations is done
to A and its modify a CMP field of B, then the modification is done in the
same Transaction mode as A, and propergated the same transaction attribute
right?

Or, modification is not allowed to bean B?

Or, modification of B is out of the transaction of A?

Or, upto the PM to decide to be optimitic or permistic?

>No Security check
>Can expose CMP and CMR fields and local refs

For example, if Bean A is one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many to Bean
B, if a (or the) relationship between bean A and bean B is removed from
"bean A", should a modified "bean b"(only a cmp field is modified), be
commited successfully?

In other word, is relationship treated as seperate entity (unit) than a bean
itself? Or, it is part of the bean?

>PBR parameters

Could you tell me the full name of PBR?

>Local exception model
>Signatures use full Java type system
>Typically fine grained methods
>High coupling due to PBV side affects and fine grained exposure

Sorry, what is PBV?

To understand the problem, i have to made up some examples. Please don't be
upset and please correct me, if my examples are too far off. :-)

Thank you very much!
