Announcing Release Candidate 1 of the RMI Proxy.

The RMI Proxy is an application firewall which makes RMI over the Internet
practical, and solves the problems of RMI over HTTP:

- supports RMI servers behind firewalls
- supports client-side callbacks
- supports multiple server-side and client-side enclaves
- supports Raptor firewalls
- minimal client and server API changes
- client & server API is free; you pay only for the proxy itself.

We've fixed a few bugs and cleaned up the documentation.

To all current beta users, thanks for all your feedback: your beta copy has now
expired, but please feel free to download RC1.

The RC1 code will expire on 30 April 2001.

Watch out too for the Jini Proxy, coming soon.
