I am trying to find someone that has implemented an enterprise system using
EJBs and the J2EE architecture which is similar in scope to our product. I
am in a technical argument as to whether an EJB solution will work for us
and I need ammunition to fight the battle. To be a good example it would
have to use all Java and EJBs rather than just front ending with
JSPs/Servlets and using a legacy system in the back.
If I could talk to an actual site that is using such a solution (and have
them talk to my VP) it may keep my case alive. The actual deployment must be
similar in volume to ours which I would describe as around 500-600
transactions per hour. The transactions being merchandise orders of 10 to 20
line items each. As far as number of concurrently connected clients I would
think around 150 or probably less. This doesn't sound like a really huge
load to me.
I would appreciate any feedback. Most of all I would appreciate talking to
someone that has such a site. Thanks
