J-spaces announce the availability of J-Spaces Platform 1.0 at
www.j-spaces.com.
J-Spaces is a commercial implementation of the JavaSpaces specification,
with emphasis on openness, scalability, reliability and powerful API.
To those who are not familiar with JavaSpaces , JavaSpaces is a JINI Service
that provides an efficient mean for sharing and exchanging objects between
distributed applications. This technology is based on the tuple space model
and can be seen as a technology that combines both Database and Messaging
capabilities.
J2EE users can use this product for solving many of the distributed
application problems such as High Availability, Load Balancing , Fault
tolerance etc. It can also provide a mean for sharing and exchanging session
information across several applications. In other cases it can provides an
ideal framework for agent based application such P2P , E.A.I , and more.
