Does anybody have any suggestions as to implementing a composite structure in EJB (such as a product hierarchy)? One thought is to have a very corse-grained entity bean which represents the whole hierarchy and use clever lifecycle/persistence management to only store the updated "nodes", if you will. And then have the nodes mapped to each other via ids in table rows. Surely someone has tackled this problem.
