JAVA ONE may explain a lower than usual message volume, but it doesn't explain
the known-to-be-missing message. Also there have been other recent problems with
the list, eg double delivery of messages a month ago.

There has been no message of explanation or apology from SUN to the list or to
me personally, giving the impression that they can't run an efficient list, and
don't care very much either.
