Hi all, I want inputs from somebody who has used entity beans as application components. Is there a performance degradation in using the same? I have read in some places that an entity bean, in order to ensure concurrency does a data update before a read, and that transaction mgmt is also very heavy. In designing an application whose bottomline is performance alone would you recommend going in for entity beans or use session beans alone. In the latter way however there would be deviation from an ideal j2ee design in that session beans would be directly talking to the database. what would u recommend? thanks and looking fwd to your inputs. regards, rajat Enjoy being an Indyan at http://www.indya.com =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff EJB-INTEREST".
