The ejbStore() & ejbLoad() are only called the first time and the data is cached.  IF you are running in a non-clustered environment.   If you are running in a clustered environment and the bean is only a Read-Only bean, the container will have the same behavior - ejbStore() & ejbLoad() only the first time and cache the result.   However, if you are running in a clustered environment and the bean is a Read-Write bean, the ejbLoad() & ejbStore() are called every time.   Dawn L.
