Well..Basically what you need to have is a JDBC driver for the specific
DBMS, SQL Server 2000 in your case. There are different drivers (that fall
into one of the four JDBC driver categories) available from different
vendors for SQL Server. For example in one of my application I have used
JTurbo driver that is available for download in evaluation version at
http://www.JTurbo.com/.
In order to use it you simply need to make use of JDBC framework (open
connection by providing Driver and URL information or make use of DataSource
in case you are using Application server connection pools). However as
Jeetendra suggested let us know the details (in terms of either you are
using direct JDBC connection or making use of application server connection
pooling facility) if you are still having problems . Because I have also
successfully used the SUN JDBC-ODBC bridge driver in number of
applications.
