Has anyone implemented an EJB architecture where the database was accessed through fine grained session beans which are basically Data Access Objects sitting in front of the database? This solution is basically like BMP entity beans, but instead of being entity beans they are session beans. I guess this would make them BMP session beans...? Has anyone out there worked on projects where they have decided not to use any entity beans, and if so what were your reasons?
