Hi all, we are going to give a front end (web) for any database. In our application when user clicks new table button then a form page is to be loaded similar to the new table form presented by other db front ends or tools like enterprise manager in SQL server which gives a table with input cells having column headings like coloumn name, data type , length, scale etc. But these column names (i.e. attributes of 'create table' command may vary depending on DBMS. So how it can be discovered at run time. I have gone through databasemetadata interface but not able to figure out any useful methods there. so what is the way out.
