So does Macromedia JRun, which just released a Web services bundle based on
Apache Axis.  Included are examples of using an EJB as Web service, and
tools for automatically turning any Java class into a Web service (as easy
as JSP).

classes etc. as
Web Services. They provide you with tools which generate WSDL, and
Servlets
which would handle the translation of SOAP request to an EJB call, and
EJB results
back into SOAP response.

Application Servers like Weblogic 6.1, Websphere 4.0 have such tools
already
integrated into there products.
