Is there a way of having a dedicated machine to be used as the naming service?
For instance, machine A is the dedicated name server box that all clients use to lookup EJBs. Machines B,C, and D all have EJBs deployed on them. Could all EJB clients go against the Machine A name server to lookup any EJB? The problem here is that machines go off lease and we need to move applications and now EJBs to other boxes. Wondering if there is a way to do this without breaking clients.
