I'm looking for information on how transactions are handled by EJB out-of-the-box. I'm very new to the technology. And from what I've read, the transactions offered within EJB are not the highest level available. Can someone help me by letting me know when to use EJB for transactions and when to use the separate Java Transactions API for other tasks.
