This cache problem seems to come up so frequently with the customers that the future spec should consider it. BEA has read-only entity beans that can be used (to a degree) in this fashion. Can something be specified to have "bulk" entity beans which contain record sets and can delegate operations on the record sets to the database transparently possibly like JDOs but actually container-managed entities?
