Subject: EJB-QL & Case Insensitive Query

Hello,

I need to do a case insensitive query on an Oracle DB. I tried various
tricks nothing worked out. I believe it is not officially supported by the
spec. Any Work-arounds or ideas??

Pls take the following SQL as an example which iam trying to accomplish
using ejb-ql

select *
from EMP
where upper(ENAME) = upper('jason').

This will return me rows if ENAME is 'jason' or 'Jason' or 'JASON' or
'JAson' ....

Thanks
Sri
