Hi All, Is it possible to use datasource at another server from a CMP Bean ? B'coz in CMP we specify the datasource name in the resource-ref element of deployment descriptor. And in normal scenario, that's on the same machine (more specifically on the same naming service). So if datasource in another server how can use that datasource from CMP ?
The necessity of using datasource at other machine may be the other server is in VPN with the actual database located at some other location, where the local server has the access to other server but not to the database directly.
