Reply to visual-soft.inc :- You are referring to a server which allows one to dynamically create and house processes on demand from clients.
One of the processes being entity Beans which map to rows of tables and hold the data in state in the server/container. Entity Beans maps to rows NOT Tables unlike one suggested. The other two processes are stateless & stateful beans and their name are self-descriptive of their behaviour. The idea is to co-ordinate transactions across networks originally designed for the purpose of credit card transactions or for the preparation of the EURO. You are also trying to resolve the problem when one has a joint account and the data is updated immediately. To put it bluntly prevent credit card fraud. The idea behind the services/servers is so that one can connect to the application servers ( application thread management system) / ATM machines / wireless devices. You need a simple architecure (tool) because the business logic is complex and requires much co-ordination. You also need people with five - six years hands -on commercial experience in software development pereferably business applications. On top of these assumptions you require people with knowledge of low-level communication who have to be aware of Industry standards in terms of protocols & asynchronies. One person thinks it doesn't work because they are confused between startup and startapp. Very important and fundamental difference. Also because the container is concurrency based choice of operating system becames important. In this effort you have hundreds/thousands of servers deployed all over the world. Which ever J2ee compliant tool you pick has to be consistent and easy to use for the purposes of maintenance. Easy to use is important so that one can concentrate on implementation of the business logic. Vendors all have to be J2ee compliant and are making half - hearted efforts and putting each other down in a bid to win this contract with out really finding out who are the client and their needs. No body is giving any training because having picked people from a certain sector of the IT industry who cannot understand the technology let alone get to the business logic. I have also heard that many people have tried and given up. Confusion is added because somebody inadvertently called it container management persistent objects when it is processes housed in a server. The person who replied to the postings wasn't visual-soft.inc but somebody else fed up of reading a two books realised they made a mistake. I strongly recommend you avoid books as I do. I have never read a book since I left College. After that it is professional tools and professional documents. I also heard from an employment agency one person who had the qualifications but was turned down because they were found unsuitable. They say no one can take away your education away from you but one obviously did in his case. To say that the book is too long for you "heer" you are trying to impress those on the list. Those impressed I have no interest in them because you have little chance of success furthermore proved failure hence many of you already gave up !!!!! Best Regards, Zahid Akhmal B. Chaudhri wrote a white paper on how different database vendors implemented different databases. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff EJB-INTEREST".
