Many applications I worked on have VIEW/UPDATE modes for both user interface and underly business model. Is there any way I can set the entity bean to readonly (VIEW) mode and avoid unnecessary ejbStore/ejbLoad, and the same EJBOject should be able to switch back between readonly and updatable modes?
