Portable EJB containers tools

Hi My name is nati and I�m currently consulting to an ISV who is building a J2EE ear which should be deployed in a protable manner between various J2EE containers such as IBM , BEA , etc.   Are there any tools that provides a portable deployment and archiving tool ? From your experience what should I expect or try to avoid when I try to build a portable EAR ?   Thanks.
