It seems that the data you're sending back and forth is raw. If that's
the case, (BL on the server side is minimal) then you're best off as is.
If complex BL needs to be executed on the server side(perhaps FFT over
the digitized analog signals of the sensors, to apply a
pass-band-filter?) then EJBs may allow your app to execute faster and
scale better. It's difficult to say from your description.
