Hi Paul,

The link table has to be modeled as a local entity with one-to-many
relationships with the two CMP beans.

A similar case can be in an order-entry system, where sales order and
product have many-to-many relationship. (Many salesorders can order one
product or many products can be ordered by one salesorder.) In this case, an
intermediate entity Order line items is used to store attributes such as
quantity, price etc and with one-to-mant relationships between SalesOrder &
LineItems and LineItems & Product.

Subject: CMR - how to model attributes of the relation

Hi there,

I have a many-many CMR between two CMPs and am wondering how best to model
attributes specific to
that relationship ? I have the usual link table to model the many-many
relationship in my schema
and have added the attributes to the link table, but am unsure how best to
model this at the EJB
level.

Thanks in advance,
-Paul
