Subject: Servlets Query

Hai All,

This is Prasad Bangalore.

I have been asked in one interview the following quetion.

How you can call a servlet in a standalone java program?

I think that the servlets are designed only for web applications. i.e. we can call the servlets by form action in the HTML or JSP page or we can directly call the servlet by giving the path in the web browser. Anybody has the answer for the above question please reply.

thanks in advance.

yours friendly,

prasad
