I managed to build Ekiga myself for the very first time. I was using the recently released 2.0.12 version with tarballs of PWLib and OPAL from the www.ekiga.org website. All details can be found here: http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Compile_Release_Etch I will know try the same with a SVN snapshot and check my milage.
