Seems to be more a ptlib trouble.
Indeed. The problem is in PPluginManager::GetPluginsDeviceNames method
from opal, src/ptlib/common/pluginmgr.cxx. I suggest you to put several
printf inside that method or run step by step inside gdb so that you
find out the exact line of code which triggers the crash.
