Hi Luc, Thanks for your advice. I wanted to try luvcview, but I am not able to compile it. Although I have the libsdl1.2debian and libsdl1.2debian-all packages installed on my debian system, the command sdl-config required to make luvcview is not found, and when I try to compile SDL from source, it fails,
name -Wl,libSDL-1.2.so.0 -o build/.libs/libSDL-1.2.so.0.11.0 /usr/lib/libc_nonshared.a(atexit.oS)(.gnu.linkonce.t.__i686.get_pc_thunk.bx+0x0): In function `__i686.get_pc_thunk.bx': : multiple definition of `__i686.get_pc_thunk.bx' /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/3.3.5/crtbeginS.o(.gnu.linkonce.t.__i686.get_pc_thunk.bx+0x0): first defined here collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [build/libSDL.la] Error 1 Do you happen know which debian sdl package might contain the needed command?
