Hi I currently use Ubuntu on my personal comp and wanted to try
the windows version at home. It installed just fine on the mac
running Vista. I get to call [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
just fine and everything is going pretty good.
You don't have an isight on the mac I guess ? So 500 worked with voice
only ?
Great work. The only problem I faced is that when I installed my
personal Quickcam Notebook Deluxe and ran the configuration druid
again in devices I get Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win 32) and
then just a green screen. The camera works fine with the supplied
logitech software. Any ideas behind my problem?
I'm not Sure but I think WDM = direct X ? So works only on SVN ...
WDM is NOT directX. This might be the problem. Ekiga uses
windowsmultimedia for the capture, which is pretty old. Maybe it is not
supported anymore with that camera.
It would be nice to test as soon as the directX capture is available
(already in the cvs I think).
Meanwhile, if you can test with another webcam.
By the way ? Are there automatic builds of ekiga Win32 ? because
http://snapshots.seconix.com/win32/
<http://snapshots.seconix.com/win32/> seems to be old ?
Yes, on SVN under ekiga/win32/ path.
