Hi Everybody, I'm using Ekiga for a corporate project. Using Ekiga I connect to a local server in my company which runs voice applications. I want to use Ekiga to test these applications.
I use sip addresses like [EMAIL PROTECTED] etc. The server is unable to understand the DTMF PayLoad because the codec used by Ekiga is 101 and the one supported is 96. I receive the following error when i run : ekiga -d 2 -c [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007/09/21 14:28:12.849 0:11.431 SIP Transport:a2de7c8 SDP Media attribute rtpmap found for unknown RTP type [pt=96] Following is the server's log: INVITE sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] SIP/2.0 Date: Thu, 20 Sep 2007 10:33:47 GMT CSeq: 1 INVITE Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 172.16.18.92:5063;branch=z9hG4bK34ff8fa3-d265-dc11-996c-0019b97d3b5d;rport User-Agent: Ekiga/2.0.2 From: "Pratiksha Powar" <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>;tag=2c218fa3-d265-dc11-996c-0019b97d3b5d Call-ID: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Contact: <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:5063;transport=udp> Allow: INVITE,ACK,OPTIONS,BYE,CANCEL,NOTIFY,REFER,MESSAGE Content-Type: application/sdp Content-Length: 368 Max-Forwards: 70 v=0 o=- 1190284427 1190284427 IN IP4 172.16.18.92 s=Opal SIP Session c=IN IP4 172.16.18.92 t=0 0 m=audio 5004 RTP/AVP 101 114 115 3 107 110 0 8 a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-15 a=rtpmap:114 SPEEX/16000 a=rtpmap:115 iLBC/8000 a=rtpmap:3 GSM/8000 a=rtpmap:107 MS-GSM/8000 a=rtpmap:110 SPEEX/8000 a=rtpmap:0 PCMU/8000 a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000 I don't know much about codecs. Is there a version of Ekiga which can help me solve this problem? Currently I'm using Ekiga 2.0.2 on Gnome 2.16. Ekiga was a part of the CentOS 5.0 distribution. Thanks, Pratiksha _______________________________________________ ekiga-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-list
