Just for curiosity: is there some way to run ekiga on a remote server
that connect to the local sound server (e.g. pulseaudio)?
(typical LTSP environment)
Ekiga detects ALSA, however, according to /etc/asound.conf:
pcm.!default {
type pulse
}
ctl.!default {
type pulse
}
and of course:
# cat /proc/asound/cards
--- no soundcards ---
$ pactl stat
