Are you sure it is the "Day Phone" field and that it works for all calls ?
I only know that, when somebody i call is not at home, coming back he can get my "Day Phone" number calling 3103. 3103 is, in France, the number of "voice mail" by France-Telecom. (Messagerie vocale en français.) If there is somebody here living in France, France-Telecom subscriber and french speaking, i can tell him|her to do a try.
