Hi Palo
In Playback I can lower Surround, Center, LFE and in mic I can lower Mux
and Mux1. It didnt help.

Thats not convenient. Echo canceller in Ekiga is activated with a hook.
What do you mean by \"disable mic boost, put mic out to 0\"?
These are the names of channels. You can try to open
eg alsamixer and mute/lower all microphone related
channels in \"Playback\" card (the capture level of
microphone is under \"Capture\" card, muting mic for
playback does not affect your voice transmitted to
the others but affects the echo). Skype automatically
adjusts the channels levels so that might be the
reason why you have lower echo with it. And might
not.

It says in Audio-Codecs \"Jitter-Puffer is between 20 and 500 ms
automatically.\" What does it mean?

I have no echo problems with skype but with Ekiga there is a big echo
and the receivers of my calls complain. Is there no way to get rid of
this echo?
