Can you reproduce it?
If I click on "Add to Local Roster", I do not have to enter the SIP
address. Ekiga knows it, and adds it for you.
It does not complain either of duplicate contacts.

If you add address books in Evolution, they will be accessible in Ekiga.
But Ekiga does not allow adding a new Evolution address book by itself.
