It looks like a strange problem. You mention above that you did not get a broadcard.com dialup account. Is there a typo there? Why do you mention this service? I did a search on ekiga.net (from Addressbook) for an account of yours and it shows your sip address is "sip:[email protected]" instead of '[email protected]'. If you get a 'You credit is low' message when calling [email protected], something is wrong and you end up calling a dialout account instead of ekiga.
