Can you try Coriander or another camera package easily?
Peter, According to my Google search, coriander (the non-spice) is for firewire (IEEE 1394) cameras, not USB connected ones. CamStream is _supposed_ to work, but it's not working here. What I see when I invoke Ekiga is: "Error while accessing video device USB Camera (046d:08ad) "Your driver doesn't seem to support any of the color formats supported by Ekiga. Please check your kernel driver documentation in order to determine which Palette is supported. "A moving logo will be transmitted during calls. Notice that you can always transmit a given image or the moving logo by choosing "Picture" as video plugin and "Moving logo" or "Static picture" as device." The camera light does not come on. Modules loaded include: uvcvideo compat_ioctl32 gspca_zc3xx gspca_main videodev v4l1_compat Thanks, Rich _______________________________________________ ekiga-list mailing list ekiga-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-list
