Hi,
Removed --enable-debug from opal config
(cd $(OPAL_DIR)/; ./configure $(confopal) --enable-debug )
and removed DEBUG=1 debug from the below given line of makefile
## $(MAKE) $(MAKEOPTS) DEBUG=1 debug -C $(PTLIB_DIR) 2>&1 | tee
ptlib-make.log
This thing solved the problem and successfully compiled ptlib and opal
without any other problems.

* Is it mandatory to keep -lopal_d as it is ? OR
