Sorry to answer so late.
Reading your trace, I notice that another application is listening on
port 1720. The same error when binding to port 5060. I suppose you
have started ekiga or more probably another VoIP client, which listens
to the same ports, and as a consequence ekiga gives this error. When
trying ekiga, you need to stop the other VoIP software.
Is that right?
If the above is true, we need to tweak the error message to correctly
inform the user.

You need to send us the -d 4 output. And be prepared to wait a bit, I
am very busy these days...

Hello!
You are absolutely right: modification of user name was wrong (and stupid).
However, now I have a different error message in Status column (for both
Ekiga.net account and 1und1 SIP account):
Could not register (Transport error)
VOIP registration with PhonerLite is still working.

Well, you should modify the *account* name, not your user name. And
restart ekiga, just in case.

Hello!
After editing line
User:<1und1 phone number starting with 49...>%limit
Authentication User:<1und1 phone number starting with 49...>%limit
the Status column is empty now.
Does this mean Ekiga has connected successfully?

Hello!
I'm failing to configure the SIP account correctly.
I enter the following data:
Name:[
Registrar: sip.1und1.de
User:<1und1 phone number starting with 49...>
Authentication User:<1und1 phone number starting with 49...>
Password:
Timeout: 3600
Using another application "PhonerLite" with exactly the same data, the
connection works.
But with Ekiga 3.2.7 I get this error message:
Status: Cound not register (Forbidden)
Are there any other configuration settings that needs to be modified?
Yes, see
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Troubleshooting#Cannot_register_to_sip.1und1.de_or_some_other_registrar_with_ekiga_.3C.3D_3.2.x
and tell us if it works.
