About 2 months ago, someone on this list (or devel) wanted to implement it, but some piece of code was missing. One week later that piece of code was implemented, but that person had not answered to e-mails anymore.
Still, this should be simple to implement, maybe 30 minutes. Are you interested to make a patch?
