Hi,
I have recently installed Ekiga and would love to continue using it via an
SIP registrar from my country, Canada.
Everything seems to be working fine except for the fact that every time I
want to place a call to another number, I need to add the registrar’s name
at the end of my number. For example, to place a call to 439-356-6868
(invented number), I would need to enter [email protected] which
Ekiga would next automatically transforms into
sip:[email protected] .
However, if I place a call using a number in my contacts or if I
double-click on a call already listed in the call history, everything works
fine and I do not need to add the @digitalvoice.ca extension.
Is there any way around that problem? What can I do to place a call to
someone who is not already in my contacts without having to add the
registrar’s information at the end of the number (e.g.
<mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] ) ?
Hi,
When you type a number, the combobox opens and lets you choose the
number with the suffix @digitalvoice.ca, is that right?
So, after typing the number, you just want to type ENTER instead of down
arrow and enter, is that right?
