Hello Samy, I haven't tried to build a cluster with the config you posted but my first guess is that you cannot connect because of firewall rules in EC2: i.e., your default security group does not allow SSH connections from the host you're running ElastiCluster on. (See, e.g., this comment for what the correct settings should look like: https://github.com/gc3-uzh-ch/elasticluster/issues/537#issuecomment-376673091 )
