The issue is that two nodes were interrupted during `dpkg`'s configure
step (due to Ubuntu's obnoxious "upgrade on boot" setting), so they
refused to install any new software.
This should now be fixed in master (last but one commit), or you can
fix it manually by logging in to `compute002` and `compute008` and
running::
sudo dpkg --configure -a
then re-run `elasticluster setup`.

I can totally understand the frustration; it sucks when a piece of
software you depend upon is not reliable and shows this kind of
regressions and easy-to-fix bugs.
However, ElastiCluster is basically a volunteer-run project now; I do
realize that the time I can devote to it is barely enough to keep it
functional, but that is hardly going to change in the near future,
unless I can find some funding to work on it part-time.
