Short answer: No. Long answer: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. *:-)* For unicast discovery, you need to tell each node the full list of nodes in the cluster. As far as I can tell, that list may include the local node so it's easier to configure the same list everywhere. But it's not automatic. For multicast discovery, it's automatic.
