I have an ES cluster running ES 1.0.1 on 10 nodes, where an index is has 5 shards each with 1 replica.
Doing the following query kept alternately returning two distinct result counts, say 103799 and 104430. I've since carefully removed 5 nodes from my cluster and now for the same query I'm getting the same value consistently. Anyone any idea what might have been going on? Unfortunately I can't reproduce the behaviour any longer.
