I understand that you do not have two elasticsearch both operating, which have no problems with RAM or problems slow queries. In my case I need to install two elasticsearch in the same machine, and not know it would cause me problems in the short and long term. For example had thought about playing with the parameters of the RAM and Cache, but not if I could play some more parameter, so that the coexistence of both elastic was the best.
