May be you are doing a lot of updates (using same IDs)?

Could you help me why "docs.count" below is not increasing? it's stack at 
2307764. while the "docs.deleted" keeps increasing.

It's running 4 nodes of c3.large. ES-1.2.3 Is there anything I need to add in
