Hi everyone, we can't get Elasticsearch (1.3.4 at the moment) to start up on an MS Server 2008 RC2 that is virtualized by VMWare. It was installed by using the service.bat file. In the elasticsearch.log in debug mode we don't see the message were it prints wich ports it has bound to. see https://gist.github.com/christianuhlcc/310600d1a1984d5a850c
After startup we made a threaddump that suggests Elasticsearch is hanging in a native method at org.hyperic.sigar.Sigar.getFileSystemListNative(Native Method), see: https://gist.github.com/christianuhlcc/981cda74d3ae914939b7 We use the HotSpot JVM 1.8.0_20-b26, the configuration is all-default. Does anyone haven an idea where to start looking?
